This Cookie Policy explains how WealthCertifier ("we", "our", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.wealthcertifier.com (the "Website").
The short version: we set only the cookies needed to make the Website work. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics cookies, and nothing sold or shared with data brokers.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function, keep you signed in, and remember your preferences.
Cookies may be:
- First-party cookies: set by our Website
- Third-party cookies: set by another domain you are sent to, such as the payment page
- Session cookies: deleted when you close your browser
- Persistent cookies: remain until they expire or are removed
2. Cookies We Set
Every cookie set by this Website is strictly necessary. There are five of them:

3. Third-Party Cookies
We embed no third-party scripts that set cookies. Two flows send you to another company's page, where that company's own cookie policy applies:
- Stripe: when you pay, checkout happens on Stripe's hosted page. Stripe sets its own cookies there for payment security and fraud prevention.
- Google: only if you choose "Sign in with Google". Google sets its own cookies on its sign-in page.
Neither company sets cookies on our own pages, and neither receives browsing data about the rest of your visit from us.
4. Analytics Without Cookies
We measure aggregate traffic with Plausible Analytics, which we host ourselves. It sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses, assigns you no persistent identifier, and cannot follow you across other websites. We see counts of page views and referrers, never individuals.
5. Your Cookie Choices
Under UK PECR and the UK GDPR, consent is required for any cookie that is not strictly necessary. Our banner asks for that consent before anything optional is set, split into these categories:
- Strictly necessary: the cookies listed above. Always active, because the Website cannot work without them.
- Functional: remembers choices you make, such as the dashboard sidebar state.
- Analytics: would measure how pages are used. Our analytics are cookieless today, so nothing is set under this category.
- Marketing: would measure advertising and personalise what you see. We run none today and set no advertising cookies.
Optional categories are off until you switch them on, rejecting is as easy as accepting, and we set no optional cookies while the banner is open or if you ignore it. As things stand, no cookie is set under the functional, analytics, or marketing categories, whichever way you choose: the categories exist so your consent is already on record before any such cookie is introduced. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the Cookie Settings link in the footer, and we will ask again at least every six months.
6. Managing or Disabling Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because ours are strictly necessary, blocking them will break sign-in, certificate editing, and checkout. Deleting them signs you out but destroys nothing: your account and certificates stay in place.
7. Updating This Cookie Policy
We may update this Policy due to legal requirements, new features, changes to sign-in providers, or changes to the services we rely on. The date at the top always reflects the current version. How we handle personal data more broadly is covered in our Privacy Policy.
